The Mindset To Say Sorry And Mean It

Saying sorry shows humility and gentleness.

“I’m sorry” shows humility

I remember in my teenage years; I thought saying sorry was beneath me. I had a different mindset back then and of course that got me into so much trouble.

I have struggled with that word especially if I knew that it was not something that was my fault. Both sides cannot win.

Sometimes it is as easy as a flowing river stream, and sometimes it is like tugging a very tight brace from my own teeth, keeping me from expressing how I really feel in a more cordial way.

Heartfelt apology comes from a genuine heart, which empathizes with how the other person feels.

Apologizing means nothing to me if it's not sincere. because saying Sorry, it makes a significant difference for me, and I have peace about it. Even if it started as a rumbling tornado in my stomach.

The fact is when I release and let go of any negativity, I have an authority to overcome what was meant to hurt me and stop it from spreading like a disease in my heart.

When I do something wrong to others unintentionally, I say I’m sorry, and really mean it.

Sometimes I feel like being empathetic was both a curse and a gift. Because I can feel everything, every energy around me, both good and bad.

I thought I was just overly emotional, overly sensitive, and exaggerated things for no reason. But repeatedly I have asked myself; why am I like this? Still trying to figure that out as I grow in this thing call life.

What’s the point of apologizing If you are not going to mean it and feel bad about hurting me, am I right? (I just don’t get it).

Yet, what hurts the most is when family does the hurting, say sorry but later learned that they only say sorry to stop the conversation. There's is no explanation.

That is just diabolical.

I’m going back to something that happened to me about a week ago, it was extremely unpleasant, so much so I felt emotionally like crap, excuse my expression.
