How to trade on forbitspace on Polygon

forbitspace is an aggregator protocol that allows traders to access a wide range of financial tools through a single interface. We are developing new aggregation methods to deal with the disconnected liquidity that decentralized exchanges are known for.

forbitspace uses a method of smart order routing called Spaceflight that splits a single transaction into several orders across multiple DEXs. forbitspace also routes orders by allowing crypto traders to tap deep liquidity and benefit from higher prices with low cost and efficiency.

Polygon (formerly Matic Network) is a blockchain scalability platform and framework for connecting and building Ethereum-compatible blockchain networks. Because one of Polygon’s key aims is to aggregate scalable solutions to enable a multichain Ethereum environment, the network also refers to itself as “Ethereum’s internet of blockchains.”

To start using forbitspace on Polygon with your PC, you can go along with these following steps:

With forbitspace interface, you can see that the default mainnet is always Ethereum at first. You can tap this “Ethereum” button whenever you want to change into other networks.

Once you have accessed forbitspace, you will need to connect your wallet to be able to start trading on forbitspace. Click the “Connect Wallet” button, then agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy and choose the wallet you want to connect to forbitspace.

forbitspace is now supporting so many popular wallets in the crypto market, including Metamask, Binance Chain Wallet, Coinbase Wallet, Wallet Connect, etc. In this post, I will guide you on how to use forbitspace with Metamask Wallet.

To use forbitspace on Polygon, you need to change the default mainnet into Polygon network as the next step.

Tap the “Ethereum” button, then there will be a pop-up that shows you the four mainnets forbitspace is supporting. Next, switch the network into Polygon by choosing Polygon and then click “Switch Network” to do the switching confirmation.

You can watch this video to have a specific view of the process when connecting wallet and changing mainnets.

After changing mainnet, you can start trading on forbitspace now. On the dashboard which have the “You pay” and “You Recieve” Sections, you can choose the token you want to pay as well as the one you want to get.

Then, enter the amount of the token you pay, you will see the amount you could get in the “You Receive” Section.

After that, carefully check again the tokens as well as the amount and click “Swap”.

Once you click “Swap”, you will need to do two confirmations, one to confirm the amount of swapped tokens, and one to accept to use the assets in your Metamask wallet for the transaction. That’s done.
