Calling All Teachers

We are open to sharing your insights, experiences, and skill-sets as we move forward

Age of Awareness now has over 1,000 contributing authors from over 50 countries. We have grown to the largest publication on Medium that is dedicated to education reform. On average, we have 500,000 readers each month. We have many teachers and educators from all over the world that are adding to this publication but we do need more. This publication needs to amplify more teacher voices from the classroom.

I am not sure about outside the US, but I know it is a common sentiment amongst teachers in the US that decisions in education often move forward without their input. I know that I have experienced this in schools as a teacher in my career. This is why we want to do a better job of elevating and amplifying teacher voices in this conversation of education reform. As stated before, AoA has done a great job over the years at highlighting issues in our systems but now we want to be more solution-centered this year and beyond. And we cannot do that without the input and insights of teachers.

So, if you are a teacher, were a teacher (we know burnout is real), or know someone that is a teacher we encourage you to share your experiences and insights as a professional with the AoA publication. We want to highlight classroom experiences to share with our community and beyond.
