Dark Clouds Full Moon

I don’t know what the photo or the title have to do with this…

Piece of writing…

Other than I am happy the storm has passed and stuff is getting back to normal…not that normal’s all that good…it’s not…but it’s quieter and that, to me, right now, is better…

The first few days of January were bullshit…folks on twitter, Facebook, television stirrin it up…y’know what I mean…stirrin it up…got my uncle goin…he sat in his room, 5 days straight, listenin to his talkin head machine churn up a storm about the godless goin ons all over the land…

Then, on the 6th day, fuck me, the Save the Steal Crew ransacked the Capital Building in a deadly attempt to score big on DC memorabilia and copper tubing.

My uncle’s broadcast buddies were horrified, shocked, “how could this have happened?”

Really?

Now, I get it.

The photo.

The title.

The moon, peeping through dark clouds, illuminates evidence of the coming storm yet many are still surprised when lightening strikes.

When the mess they’ve made rains down on them like stun guns at a revolution.

And the crisp quiet of the morning after…

When Twitter’s taken away the thunder and folks on morning shows claim to prefer milquetoast over sour grapes and wants us to all hail the double masked status quo but, me, I bow before no one and that’s why I’ll tell you, though I’m glad our second rate Orange Julius Mussolini has been silenced and defeated, I don’t expect much from the inaugurates…and that’s okay, as long as they’re quiet and accept the consequences of their actions.

That would make my world shine bright as a full moon on a cloudless night.
