Section XIV

Life is an expression of self discovery. Yeah, Yeah! Of course! What I really wanted to talk about was our psychic abilities. I remember while I was at Burning Man in 2006 how I saw some of us as foragers of a new terrain called the psyche. I saw that there are psychic objects and minds-capes still here for us to explore.

I also saw an analogy with how we developed physically, and how we explored and conquered the physical realm with our physical bodies. Our minds are there too; we have always been on a psychic level developing, but not exploring nor conquering. But what if we start to?

One possibility, of very many, is that we treat mind the same way we have treated our physical world, both of which we live in simultaneously. We may actually find power centres, or forms, and start to take advantage of those energies for our personal gain. We may develop technologies, or discover old forgotten technologies that are useful mostly in the psychic realm. Objects that are directly attached, connected or somehow linked to the psychic realm will have tremendous influence over specific psychic energy forms. How would these power objects be used, or what if we start to make power objects? What if we started to market power objects, different kinds that did different and unique things within the psychic realm. This answer is dependent upon who is using these technologies. A good person with a pure heart and higher awareness will use them wisely, while a bad person with a mixed heart and less awareness will us them foolishly.

We may also discover that the feelings we have are not bad, they are natural. We can begin to open up to our own feelings, then with practice become more comfortable in the presence of others’ feelings. This would lead to people learning how powerful feelings are in generating emotions, which are the interface between the dimensions from the physical point of view. Again, how this manifests is determined in the people. Generally, I believe that growing in awareness like this will naturally lead to living a peaceful and loving life. The exception, which needs to be seen here, is the lesser more uncommon use of the awareness that feelings generate emotions. In these people the emotions become something to manipulate to gain people’s attention or will. I see children do it all the time, as soon as they discover that feelings and emotions are the same thing, and that emotions can easily be mimicked, thus generating the feelings that will move people to their will, or even just for attention to themselves. I see adults do it too, with anger, suffering and anxiety, pleasure, comfort and leisure using these emotions to cause fear, worry, and aggression or passive, listless and slothful people. Emotions are a choice, feelings are natural.

There are infinite paths in this universe, which we live in, and the only paths worth walking are those with feeling. All of these things are already occurring. There is no if, or when these things start to happen, rather it is as though they are already here, and it is a personal responsibility to choose a path with heart (Castinada). As we grow in awareness, and open our personal eyes to the fullness of our existence, then we begin to develop, and grow in potential. With practice, courage and persistence, we can become a new being. In this way we can build a community of love, creativity, and healing.

I’m suggesting that we become conscious of our psychic environments. Open our mind’s eyes up to the full realm of the psyche. Which is to say, our psychic perceptions, not a physical eye actually, rather an awareness of feelings as an energy that generates the mental and emotional phenomenon we call self. I want to explore the psyche with my mind and heart as thoroughly as others have explored on the physical-material dimension. I do make power objects, I know about my feelings, I have travelled to power nodes and received unique and useful psychic energy. I have released stores of negative energy from this life time as well as entire streams of human consciousness through acceptance, forgiveness and courage. Releasing huge sources of feelings that are now being used for love, creativity and healing.

I know that with our minds: will, contrast, feelings, choice, faith and purpose*; we can explore the non-physical dimension way deeper. The psyche is vast, complex and real. We will discover worlds of existence as we explore this parallel dimension that exists with our physical existence. The psychic realm is a parallel universe of a different dimension. We, as living beings, are some kind of special joining and interacting of these two distinct realities. Their existing together as us creates this phenomena we call (physical-psychic) life.

*what I wrote the first time I described mind, 2009: “which is memory, imagination, reason, logic, passion, emotions, words, thoughts and feelings”. I have processed these concepts into a simple six facet system of development and awareness.
